Guest sessions and optional Google sign-in
You can check words and play without Google. Online use can automatically create a
guest identity with a generated name such as user100001 and a session cookie
or token. Scores and activity can be linked to this identity without Google sign-in.
Signing in with Google is optional; it links the guest's history,
activity and rankings to that account for use across devices.
Data on the device
- Local word history, favorites, the 0–100 score chart and training statistics.
- Language, game mode and interface preferences.
- A cache of up to 80 definitions, retained for at most seven days.
- A guest or Google-linked session cookie/token, and activity waiting to sync.
Favorites and interface preferences are local. History and activity may also have a server copy. Clearing site or app storage deletes local data; it does not delete server data.
Data sent to s.pfa87.cc
Play and checks. Online activity can send the word, language, dictionary, game mode, rack, tile edition and event/round identifier with the guest or account session. Ranked play sends the word or pass, rack and score percentage. The server validates these and keeps rankings, dates, history and activity counts. Deduplication records use hashes; activity-count leaderboards do not publish checked words. Offline events already linked to an identity may be sent after reconnection.
Google sign-in. If you choose it, Google sends us:
- your Google account id (
sub); - display name;
- profile photo URL.
These identify your account and support synced history and statistics. The Google account identifier sub is not shown publicly.
Definitions. When online, the looked-up word is sent to our proxy and then to the matching Wiktionary edition.
Public leaderboards. Guest or account display names, language, rank, points, averages, game/activity counts and dates may be public. Ranked game entries can also show a played word. The separate public challenge average uses aggregated percentages; this does not make all play anonymous.
Feedback. Messages include the text, optional email address, date and language. The service also uses the request IP address to limit abuse.
What we do not do
- No ads, no ad tracking, no sale of data.
- No access to contacts, photos, location or files.
- We never receive your Google password.
Processors

- Wikimedia / Wiktionary — definitions when you are online.

Retention
- Anonymous percentages: stored in aggregate, not tied to a person.
- Guest and Google-linked profiles, history, rankings and activity totals: stored on the server, separately from local device data. Synced word history is limited to the 80 most recent distinct words.
- Review: missed racks (tiles, words to find, the word played, review dates) stay on the device. With a Google account they are also kept on the server so they follow you to every device: at most 300 racks, and a removal is kept there for 90 days so it reaches your other devices.
- Session cookie / token: up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
Access and export
To request access to or export of guest or Google-linked data, contact [email protected] with the displayed account name and any available account identifier.
Delete your account and data
Request deletion by email at [email protected]. This applies to guest and Google-linked accounts.
Include your displayed name or guest identifier and say that you want the account, synced history, rankings and activity data deleted. We may need information to identify the account. Do not send passwords or session tokens.
Signing out or clearing device storage does not delete server data. Clearing word history does not delete rankings or lifetime activity totals.
Web audience measurement
The website uses Google Analytics to measure visits. Analytics cookies are enabled only after you accept. Your choice is stored locally and can be changed using Cookies in the app. Gameplay records described above are separate from analytics consent.
Children
Verimots is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Android permission
Internet only: definitions, public average, Google sign-in, leaderboard, cloud history. The word list, rack and local challenge work offline.

We will update this page if the processing changes. The date above is the source of truth.
